See you there,
Bad beats really suck. A few minutes ago online I flopped a flush only to have a guy hit runner runner fullhouse just like that. Moments ago I had KK all in against a guy with 10J on a 10 6 6 board. 2 outter. But he hits a 10.
Sometimes when your luck sucks, you’re just screwed.
would of been more beautiful if he had 72o! I love crushing rocks with shitty cards!!! You all have to admit bluffing someone out with shitty cards is better than winning with decent cards!!!! ahahaha!!
Correct. Provided the majority of my stack went in on the last street, it wouldn’t be considered a bad beat. I would be furious with the player for making a bad call pre-flop, and on the flop, but I would just take in on the chin and move on. As a poker player, you have to always make the +EV play on every street.
It would have been a bad beat, if I raised with AA and got called by 27 off, flopped 2A3, bet/call, turn 2, I check, he shoves and I called.
So lets say you are at a cash game. You raise with aces and 27 off calls. Flop comes 2A3. You bet they call. Turn is a 2. You bet they call. River is a 2. You bet they raise..You go allin..They call. So since the money didnt go in until the river..that wouldnt be a bad beat to you?
@MinWild24 I am afraid I agree with zell10035. Bad Beat is when you are a significant favourite when the money is in. And its 71/29 here. Nonetheless, it is quite sick to watch. LOL
Ok. When a hand is a stastical favorite to win..its a bad beat. A 60/40 is not a bad beat. AJ beating AK is a bad beat. Aces losing to pocket kings is a bad beat. It does not matterr when the money goes in. So lets say when you are at a cash game. You raise with aces, and 27 calls. Nails a 2 on the flop. You bet. They call. Turn nothing you bet they call. River 2 for trips for 27. You bet..they call. Thats not a bad beat to you?
This intersting dicussion and I disagree to you to a point. I just took a 3 outer beat on the river. Guy had J3 and I had Ten Ten..95% of my chips were already in the pot after the turn. After the turn it was a showdown and he nailed a jack to take me out. You don’t consider that a bad beat?
lol,
go play online poker.. this shit happens SO often.. it makes me sick
deal with it and move on or give up
check out Jimmy ‘The heat’ Montana, he goes round gambling in local shops and stores instead of paying! Very funny
Ugly beat for sure… wow unbelievable

A7 vs. AK is better… A7 has a smaller chance to win then 72 there
Unbelievable

what ever yall say…this is a bad beat duuuh!!!!

erm this is a bad beat. -.-
Why is a bad determined only by a showdown. That makes no sense to me.

No I do see above: “A bad beat is basically when a significant statistical underdog wins after investing a lot of chips as a statistical underdog ”
95% of chips were invested as statistical underdog. The remainig 5% were invested as a winner but 95% were invested when he was dead
