There will never be a way of measuring who the best player is. Too many forms of poker, then there is cash games vs tournaments. There’s also the question of who has the best A-game, but also who plays more consistently and doesn’t tilt as badly as others.
Phil Ivey obv deserves the title if we do give someone it, though. Very impressive tournament results, and one of the biggest winners in the side games for several years now.
